The Broken Orchestra invite you to ponder the question: What will you leave behind? This interactive installation is a 20 minute experience where you can reflect on legacy, what we pass on and what we leave behind. Photos, personal belongings, hobbyist collections, maybe even a house made into a home - things that represent who we are, our experiences, personality, achievements and connections formed. Get yourself comfortable for a private audio/visual experience, set to an original score by The Broken Orchestra, spoken word by Rick Ingham and film by Chris Fenton. Immensely personal and thought-provoking, it explores not just the physical things, but the intangible things we leave behind; stories, lessons, influence and the lasting impact of nurture and love.
Who are the artists? The Broken Orchestra are an Associate Artist of Freedom Festival, and have brought many audio experiences to the festival, including both iterations of Fair Winds & Following Seas. Founded by local artists and musicians Pat & Carl in 2010, The Broken Orchestra create atmospheric soundscapes, soundtracks, walking tours and perform as a band, with music that has featured on BBC Introducing and BBC Radio 6 Music.

How do I get tickets? Book your slot online, completely free. Experiences last 20 minutes and permit 1 person or up to 5 family members at a time. Please let us know in the Access Requirements section of the booking screen how many people will be attending.
