ABOUT US

WHAT WE DO.

Freedom Festival Arts Trust delivers a bold, year-round programme of arts, culture and heritage with freedom at its core. From producing Hull’s flagship Freedom Festival to commissioning ambitious new work for public and civic spaces, we create extraordinary live experiences that animate the city and reach audiences across Hull, East Riding and beyond.

We nurture local, national and international talent through residencies, touring networks, partnerships and community programmes; empowering artists, heritage instigators and citizens to collaborate, create and shape culture together.

Rooted in Hull yet globally connected, our work champions artistic risk, supports inclusive participation and ensures world-class culture remains free and accessible to all.
